SIA ‘’LVR Flote’’ (further on – LVR Fleet) is a port technical services provider.
During its more than 10 years of operation, LVR Fleet has developed into a dynamic port technical service provider that successfully operates in areas of hydrography, aids to navigation, ice breaking, vessel charter and port infrastructure management.
Our main clients are ports in Latvia, to whom we provide services with our fleet of 15 different vessels, a powerful technical fleet and a team of more than 100 experienced specialists.
The commercial activity of LVR Fleet is carried out in accordance with the national legislation as well as international codes, standards and guidelines of maritime industry. LVR Fleet ensures compliance with the mandatory requirements in the areas of operational quality, safety and environmental protection.
LVR Fleet is a limited liability company whose sole shareholder is the Freeport of Riga Authority. LVR Fleet was founded on September 13th, 2010, with an aim to effectively fulfill certain functions of the Freeport of Riga.
To LVR Fleet is binding legal regulation that applies to capital companies of a public person. The commercial activity of the LVR Fleet is carried out in accordance with the EU and national legislation, including the Law on Governance of Capital Shares of a Public Person and Capital Companies, as well as international codes, standards and guidelines of maritime industry. The LVR Fleet ensures compliance with the mandatory requirements in the areas of operational quality, safety and environmental protection.
Brand
LVR Fleet’s vision is to provide the highest quality port technical services in Latvia. Diligently implementing its development strategy, at the end of 2022, the company changed its corporate identity, and since November 2022, the name and the brand of the company has been changed to LVR Fleet (previously RBF or “RĪGAS BRĪVOSTAS FLOTE” in Latvian).
The new brand identity and name of LVR Fleet is no coincidence, it has been carefully thought through, including – the abbreviations of the names of the biggest ports of Latvia Liepaja – Ventspils – Riga the symbol of the Republic of Latvia LV, and the place of its origin – Riga R. As for the Fleet – it is the set of our technical resources and capabilities. Therefore, LVR Fleet is a code for our company’s vision and competencies.
The limited liability company “LVR Flote” (previously “RIGA FREEPORT FLOTE) is a capital company 100% owned by the Riga Freeport Authority , which was established and registered in the Commercial Register on September 13, 2010.
LVR Fleet was founded with the aim of providing high-quality, safe and versatile services to ships entering the waters of the Freeport of Riga, their owners and agency companies, as well as maintaining the port’s infrastructure.
As the company has grown, LVR Fleet has developed into a versatile port technical service provider. Purposefully implementing the strategy of SIA “RĪGAS BRĪVOSTAS FLOTE”, and in line with the company’s vision – to be the highest quality port technical service provider in Latvia – on November 16, 2022, the company changed its name and brand to SIA “LVR Flote”
LVR Fleet has no participation in other companies.
