Maintenance of aids to navigation
The aids to navigation (buoys, beacons, light buoys and others) are an essential part of the port infrastructure, as they navigate ships in and out of the port. Maintaining the aids to navigation in perfect technical condition is a prerequisite for safe navigation.
We maintain all aids to navigation located in the territory and water area of the Freeport of Riga up to as far as the Irbe Strait. To ensure their qualitative operation, we perform a set of planned technical measures.
Since 2022, we have also become a service partner of SPX Aids to Navigation Oy, which is the largest manufacturer of technical navigation equipment.
