Environmental aspects and objectives

On May 21, 2018, LVR Fleet received a certificate from Bureau Veritas Latvia certifying LVR Fleet’s compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 standard, thereby confirming company’s support for environmental protection and readiness to ensure compliance with the requirements of environmental regulations as well as the commitment to make continuous improvements in the field of environmental management.

Within the environmental management system, the operation of LVR Fleet and its interaction with the environment have been evaluated and the essential environmental aspects have been identified:

Taking into account the importance of these essential environmental aspects, LVR Fleet has developed a set of activities to be considered for management of the environmental aspects.

Environmental goals for 2024:

Energy management system

Since 2020, management system of LVR Flote has been certified as compliant with the requirements of the Energy Management Standard ISO 50001. The Energy Management system serves as a tool to utilise energy in a more efficient and sustainable way. The primary goals of this tool are to reduce energy costs and increase company’s competitiveness. To maintain the compliance with the standard criteria, the system is regularly improved. 

Latest recertification has been made in September 2023.
