In line with the company’s strategy, SIA "LVR Flote" (Hereinafter - LVR Fleet) is implementing a project to increase the capacity and efficiency of our fleet by purchasing a new multi-purpose ice-class (not less than 1C) hybrid vessel (hereinafter – the Project). The main operational functions of the vessel will be ice-breaking and during the ice-free season - support for other technical services, such as the maintenance of aids to navigation, hydrographical surveys and others.
Implementation of this Project will have a significant impact on the improvement of navigation safety and sustainability in provision of the port technical services, which overall contributes to the strenghtening competitiveness of the Latvian ports. Moreover, the Project has a significance in strenghtening of military mobility on a state level - the vessel is intended to provide support for civil and military purposes if necessary.
The Project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union, under the Infrastructure project programme CEF-T-2022-MILMOB-WORKS (project ID 101113531), and the purchase of the vessel will be organised through a public procurement procedure “Purchase of a multi-purpose ice-class hybrid vessel” on E-tenders system.
Pursuant to the Law on the Procurements of Public Service Providers and other applicable regulations, LVR Fleet is organising a call for meeting with interested suppliers with an aim to obtain feedback on the technical requirements of the vessel and procurement documents.
Meeting with suppliers will be organised as individual online meeting with LVR Fleet’s representatives from 2 March 2023 to 7 March 2023. Each meeting will be scheduled for up to 2 (two) hours and interested parties will have a chance to address questions to LVR Fleet and vice versa.
To participate in the meeting, the interested supplier should apply by sending an e-mail to info@lvrflote.lv by 1 March 2023 15:00 (Riga time). Please provide the contact information of your company’s appointed representatives – name, surname, e-mail address, phone number and preferable time for the meeting. To facilitate a productive outcome of the meetings, potential suppliers are welcome to submit their questions in advance to info@lvrflote.lv by 24 February 2023.
Applications will be registered on a first-come first-served basis. Please note that meetings will be recorded. For the purposes of fair treatment to all LVR Fleet will publish the significant information discussed with potential suppliers. LVR Fleet will confirm the participation of the supplier by sending a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the application.
